Trash & Recycling

Trash Removal in our Community is handled by Leck’s Waste Services.

Regular trash is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays. Recycling is picked up on Fridays.

Large bulk items are regularly picked up on Thursdays. To schedule a different pickup day, please call the number on the dumpster to schedule.  Bulk items should be placed beside the dumpster, not in front, and no sooner than the night before scheduled pickup.

This service, including bulk pick-up, is paid for by all homeowners through your monthly assessment.

This one area of maintenance establishes the first impression of our community and it is the most commonly abused.

Keeping the dumpster area free of debris not only looks good aesthetically, but it helps prevent rodent activity.

Please abide by the newly installed signs and follow all rules regarding trash disposal, which provides as follows:

  • Residents Only
  • All trash must fit inside dumpster with the lid closed
  • No construction materials
  • No carpet
  • For furniture and appliance, call for pick-up
  • Violators will be prosecuted
  • No parking around dumpsters

All trash must be placed inside the dumpster.  If your dumpster is full, please take it to the next nearest dumpster. It is very unusual for all dumpsters to be full at the same time.

Use the white Recycle dumpsters for cardboard, cans, aerosol cans, glass bottles and jars, plastic and various paper items. See the complete list attached at the end of this document.

Break down cardboard boxes to maximize space.

Mattresses and box springs will not be picked up unless they are wrapped in a plastic mattress bag and sealed. Many times we’ve had to pay someone to come in and take a mattress that has not been properly wrapped- this cost may be assessed to the Unit Owner responsible.

Do not put carpet rolls or other construction material inside the dumpsters- this is strictly prohibited. Contractors must take construction waste offsite for disposal.

The dumpsters are for household trash only.

Note from the Board: Non-residents who use our dumpsters to dispose of construction materials or any trash for that matter, are stealing from you.

Residents who own businesses and use our dumpsters to dispose of their business waste, are stealing from you.

Sometimes we have to request special pick-ups in order to get rid of dumpsters full of construction waste. This costs money we could be spending on some other projects.

Please report any incidents of improper trash disposal to Sari Sax at Continental Property Management at 215-343-1550.

Offenders face not only fines levied by the Board but also may be cited by Municipal Authorities.
